Please be informed that, according to the REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006), AE Industries B.V. is considered as „a downstream user” of PVC granulates and that cables and wires as a finished product are not subject of registration by the REACH system. We are therefore not obliged to have any confirmation issued by the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency). In the same time we declare herewith that we do not import any plastics nor any other components for our production from outside the European Union.
Therefore, as mentioned above, and according to the information from our suppliers we declare herewith that we comply with the requirements of REACH Regulation and with the requirements of the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).
Additionally, we confirm that the granulates used by our company comply with the requirements of RoHS 2011/65/UE Directive of 8 June 2011 taking into account the 2015/863/UE Directive of 31 March 2015 amending Annex II of the earlier mentioned Directive. According to the statements provided by our suppliers the restricted substances referred to in the said Directive are not used.

On August 22, 2012 the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the final rules to implement Section 1502, the conflict minerals reporting obligations, of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. AE Industries B.V. is committed to complying with this legislation.
AE Industries B.V. does not purchase tin, tantalum, tungsten or gold (3TG) directly from smelters or mines. Based on our purchasing policy, supplier selection process and information received from our major suppliers, we have no indication that our products contain minerals from conflict mines or smelters in and around the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
We fully understand the importance of this legislation and are diligently working towards our common goal of a socially responsible supply chain.
